Hristo Dimitrov
COO/ Managing Direktor and Co-founder
As Managing Director of EnAuxo, I work together with my partner and co-founder and with the support of our team, to help energy companies and large market players across Europe in accelerating the energy transition, turning strategy into actionable, data-driven delivery. I bring a strong IT foundation from leading cloud adoption and optimizing local infrastructure, having successfully supported more than 50 SMEs, from secure Microsoft 365 migrations to professional operation of onpremise systems. Over the past two years, the energy sector has become my main focus and inspiration, and I have been actively driving some of the first BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) projects in Austria. Together with our core team, we are certified in PLEXOS – a leading power-market modelling platform, allowing us to deliver robust, data-driven analysis and decision-grade insights for our customers. In my school years, I studied microelectronics. I speak German, English, and Bulgarian fluently, and also some Russian. I hold MCSE (2005) and Microsoft certifications (Azure
Fundamentals / Solutions Architect, Microsoft 365), as well as Proxmox VE certifications. Outside of work, I’m grateful for a wonderful family. I recharge through mountain hiking, love skiing, and most of love traveling!
Philip Gueorguiev
CCO/Managing Director and Co-founder
With over 25 years of experience across the energy and finance sectors, Philip as cofounding partner brings comprehensive expertise in European and global energy markets. His work focuses on asset valuation and bankable studies across the energy value chain, including BESS, CCGT, CHP, GT, other thermal and hydropower plants, renewables, electricity grids, trading operations, and wider energy infrastructure, thus supporting investment, financing, and strategic decision-making. He has held key roles as market intelligence main contact, energy modeller, project supervisor and transaction lead, business development head, and senior energy expert, combining rigorous quantitative analysis with sound commercial judgment across more than 30 markets. He completed his A-Levels in London on an academic scholarship, holds an Economics degree from the London School of Economics (LSE, international scholarship), and an Energy Management MBA from the WU Executive Academy Vienna (high-potentials scholar). Outside his professional activities, he enjoys Nordic walking across Nature’s landscapes, playing tennis or chess especially against stronger players, and learning languages as a window to new cultures.
Simeon Kirilov
Head of Delivery
Senior delivery and program leader with a strong track record driving complex, multistakeholder initiatives across banking, enterprise software, and large-scale IT organizations. He has led cross-functional teams of up to 40 people, overseeing end to-end delivery from planning and contracting through execution, risk management, and financial governance (including budgets exceeding $1M). Simeon combines rigorous analytical foundations (Applied Mathematics; Finance & Investments) with hands-on expertise in Agile delivery (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and tooling such as Jira/Confluence and Microsoft Project. As Head of Delivery, he focuses on predictable execution, stakeholder alignment, and building high-performing teams that deliver measurable outcomes. And when he’s not delivering programs, he’s out fishing—because the best catch is the quiet, not the company.
Meto Kandiylarov
Advanced Quant Modeller
Experienced data and AI leader with over a decade of experience building predictive models, optimization algorithms, and strategic decision-making systems in complex and highly regulated industries.
Proven professional in creating and implementing scalable AI solutions that improve efficiency, risk management, and revenue by analyzing large and heterogeneous data sets. Hands-on experience in developing models for energy forecasting, natural resource analysis, and infrastructure optimization using advanced machine learning and deep learning approaches. Successful leader of multidisciplinary teams who combines a strong mathematical foundation, strategic thinking, and a business-oriented approach in transforming data into measurable value for the organization. Active participant in scientific and educational activities who systematically develops expertise in statistics, artificial intelligence, and innovative technologies to support digital transformation in the energy sector. He approaches challenges like a boxing match – he analyzes his opponent, builds a strategy, and enters the ring only when the model shows that the probability of victory is maximum.

PLEXOS is widely recognised for its ability to capture the full complexity of modern power markets, combining least-cost optimisation with detailed representation of generation fleets, networks, storage, ancillary services, and regulatory constraints. Through advanced scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and robust dispatch optimisation, PLEXOS enables transparent, explainable, and bankable insights across day-ahead, intraday, and balancing markets.
Through its collaboration with EnAuxo, Energy Exemplar extends PLEXOS training beyond software proficiency to real-world application and decision relevance. The joint approach combines Energy Exemplar’s deep product expertise with EnAuxo’s market, regulatory, and financial advisory capabilities. Training is embedded in practical use cases such as price forecasting, asset valuation, hybrid system modelling, and due diligence support, ensuring that participants not only understand how PLEXOS works, but how to apply it credibly in investment, financing, and strategic decision-making contexts.
Together, Energy Exemplar and EnAuxo support the next generation of energy market intelligence for the energy transition.
